Hello! My name is Bianca. I am 7 years old, I am very excited because I will be turning 8 on March 25th.  I have one sister & one brother and I am, by the way, the youngest in the family!  My favorite hobbies are dancing & drawing.  I do drawing more often at home and I read a lot too!  Did you know that I started learning how to read when I was 2 years old?

I take ballet classes at the Sacramento Ballet and a modern class at my school.  I was part of the Sacramento Ballet’s production of  ‘The Nutcracker’ for  2 consecutive years.  Have fun looking at all of my pictures!

This picture was taken from December of last year’s production of  ‘The Nutcracker’.  I played the role of a ‘baby mouse’.  I had so much fun!  It wasn’t that easy to get in that show because you need to go through an audition and a lot of  scheduled rehearsals.

These 2 pictures were taken when I got to be a guest dancer at the Natomas Charter School’s company production called ‘Winter Dance Celebration’ on February 2013.  I danced with the entire ‘Blackrock Dance Company’ where my sister is a company dancer. It was so much fun to be with my sister at a show.  A lot of people said I did great!  

These pictures were when I first got accepted to be in ‘The Nutcracker’.  I was a ‘cook’ in that show.

My sister played the role of one of the ‘candy canes’ in the show.  She did great  and she is a really good dancer!  I love her so much!

These 3 pictures were taken right after one of my shows.   It was so much fun being a guest dancer in the show!

            

-The first picture was when my sister had her show last month called ‘Dare to Dream’.  Isn’t she amazing?

-The second picture was when my brother did a karate competition.  By the way, he won the competition!  My brother is good at music too!  He plays a lot of musical instrument and is good at playing drums.

-The last picture is just a quick peek of my ballet class at The Sacramento Ballet.

Hello, my name is Antonio and I’m in Mrs. Torres's 2nd grade class. Today I would like to mention a few of my favorite things I enjoy outside of the classroom. My favorite thing is playing Minecraft on my playstation 3 with my younger brother. We explore different worlds and craft many fun castles. 

Next is playing soccer.  I really enjoy this game because you get to run around with friends and try to kick a ball into the goal. Finally,  I enjoy time with my family at the park or on a bike ride.

Hi, I am Britney and I am seven years old.   I go to Natomas Charter School and in Mrs.Torres’s class.  I live with my parents and my little brother,  David.

One of my hobbies is to play soccer.  I have been playing soccer for two years.  I play indoor and outdoor in Natomas area.

My other hobby is to play the piano.  I am learning how to play Let It Go right now.

My favorite places are Legoland, Gilroy Gardens, and Jelly Belly Factory.  At Gilroy Gardens,  there are many fun rides at Gilroy Gardens.  Some of the rides were the mary-go-around, the caterpillar ride, and the rollercoaster.  

At Legoland, there are also many fun rides.   Most of them are the train ride, the car ride, the water ride, and the driving a car ride.  The car ride is where I got my drivers license.

 

At Jelly Belly Factory, there were a lot of jelly beans. There were over  thousands of jelly beans!  There were also different flavors of jelly beans and different colors of jelly beans.

My brother and I went to the Mont Chute with our family from Canada.  

My birthday parties were fun.  We had a water slide at my party.  Most of my friends came.  We had a great time on the water slide.

Hi! My name is Dominic and I am 8 years old. I like to play video games my favorite game is Lego City. I love all sports! I’ve played baseball in the Natomas little league, my team was the Mets. I’ve been to see the Sacramento Kings play basketball and I’ve also seen the San Jose Sharks play Hockey. I had so much watching my favorite teams play. This is me at different sporting events.

I love spending time with my family! One of my favorite things to do on hot summer days is go to the Lake and swim in the water. I get to play with all my cousins and little sister. This is me enjoying the sun at the Folsom Lake.

One of my favorite family vacations was when we went to Disney Land. I loved seeing all my favorite Disney characters. I really enjoy going on all the rides, my favorite one was Pirates of Caribbean. Here are some pictures from Disney.

Student Blogger-Roman

Hello my name is Roman and I am 7 years old. I live with my mom, my dad, and my little brother Ryder who is 2. I like to play video games like Mario Kart and Minecraft.  I also like to play basketball and I do karate. I like to go to Kings games with my family. I have been doing karate for almost 2 years at Kovar’s in Natomas. I made it to blue belt in the Little Samurai class but I had to start over when I changed classes so now I am only a yellow belt again.

Sometimes on the weekends my grandfather takes me to his business and lets me drive his trucks around.

I am really into animals especially dinosaurs, they are my favorite animal, but I also like all kinds of reptiles. I have a couple animals at home, one is my Sulcata tortoise named Jack. My parents bought me Jack 7 months ago when he was a baby, he has grown a lot since then. I also  have aN English Bulldog named Bella at home, she is my mom’s dog that she got for Christmas.

My favorite place to go on vacation is Hawaii, I went there after Christmas during winter break with my family. This year we went to visit Pearl Harbor and I also learned how to surf. my great grandmothers friend also took us out on his boat to a sandbar in the middle of the ocean where i was able to walk around in the water. I like to play on the beach all day when I am in Hawaii.
